Military Influence on the Ability of a Country to become a Global Superpower

Yes the military does have as big an effect as the Internet when it comes to being a superpower. To be a super power, a country needs to have a number of things that help it become a superpower like a strong economy, strong military, international political power and a strong national ideology. Now, when it comes down to just the military, if there is a situation like a war, it cannot just be done on the Internet. For example, the U.S fits most of the categories stated above except economy because of what happened with the stock market. Yet the U.S still took a lot of pride in their military and made sure that the wars being fought abroad were still being funded no matter what the circumstances were. That is why a lot of the money is spent on the army. The military of a country is sort of like the shape of the body of a person. If a there is a strong military, then the person is muscular, but if the military is weak, it is like a weak and scrawny person that people know they can mess with. Europe to is trying to show their muscle by using military in Mali and so on. Military also does not just mean man power but there are also other technologies like missiles which can help a country like what China is doing for example.

Characteristics of a Global Superpower

When we think of global superpowers, we think of countries like the United States or China. However, we never really stop to think about the reasons behind why they are the first countries that come to our mind when we think of a global superpower. I believe that that are eight things that make a country a superpower. Firstly, the country should be a developed country with solid infrastructure. The country should also have a good economy within the country where good exporting is taking place. Thirdly, the country should also have a high literacy rate amongst it's population. The country should also have an almost even distribution between the number of working people and number of retired individuals. It should also have major corporations or groups, such as the UN or Greenpeace, that has been founded there. The environment should be an environment where equality is present. The country should not have had major wars in the last couple of decades. Lastly, the country should have a strong government system where the people of the country mostly agree with the decisions made by the government.

Hydrogen Vs. Electricity - Which is the greener transportation future?
What question do I want to ask?
Looking at all aspects of the hydrogen car and the electric car, which one is a better alternative to using gas in cars in today's world and why?
Where will I find the information to answer my questions?

Alternatives to oil

Alternatives to Oil
            Wind
            Solar
            Geothermal
            Biofuel
            Hydrogen
The greener alternative fuels of the lot above are hydrogen and wind. The wastage at the end of these is the least polluting of the rest.

Green energy means that there will be less pollution from using these alternatives and also that they are renewable.

Global and national perspectives on this are probably that fuels, which are renewable, should be used and that the emissions given out of them should not be very harmful. Countries that produce oil might not want greener since oil is where their incomes come from, but the rest of the people all over the world of a view that alternative energies that are less stressful to the environment must be used.
